Print out these community helpers and have your child color them. Talk a little about what each person does and then glue them to a poster board. I took Erin around our community to show her where you might find some of these people. She thought it was great fun! Then we went to http://maps.google.com/ to find our home, grocery store, hospital, and other local things on the map. She loved it! What a fun way to learn about your community!
