Dinosaur Sensory Box

This week we are learning about dinosaurs so I made Erin a little dino sensory box. She had a grand time playing with the baby dinosaurs who had just hatched from their eggs and feeding them plants and meat (she said the beans were meat, I thought they were rocks, to each his own!! :) ) Erin played for about an hour pouring the beans in the egg halves and making "maracas".

Here is what was in our box:

• Dry Pinto Beans (grocery store)
• baby dinosaur figures (Lakeshore)
• plastic Easter eggs (left over from Easter!)
• Rosemary (from our garden)
