Little Passports is Here!!

We were so excited today when we got the mail to find our first Little Passports box waiting for us! We were first tipped off to this fun and educational idea by Jen over at the Chestnut Grove Academy. Every month you (or your child :) ) are sent a letter and pictures from Sam and Sofia as they travel the world on their scooter! Every month has a different country as a theme and comes with worksheet, pictures, and a souviner from that country. Erin was SO excited to get something in the mail with her name on it! I was a little worried at first that some of the material may be too advanced for her since she is just learning to read/write but we just read the letter and the worksheet out loud together and she was able to help formulate the answers all on her own! She loves the map (which went directly up on our wall after finding it in her luggage), the stickers, and her very own passport! I was even thinking of taking her to the post office to get a picture taken and "apply" for her passport. We are both pretty excited about getting our package next month when Sofia and Sam are visiting Brazil!!

It's here! It's here!

Erin had to inspect it with her magnifying glass just in case there were any hidden clues (that seems to be the thing to do these days....)

"Can we open it now??"

Our first shipment included luggage, passport, letter, map, photo, worksheet, and stickers. Also a passcode to play more games online!

Sofia and Sam find their scooter. Erin, "Hey, those are my friends!"

Included map

There is a section at the front of the passport where they ask where your child would like to visit. Not too sure where Morocco came from?? Hopefully one day when the kids are a little older when can all make her dream destinations a reality!
