This dish is great when you know you are going to have a busy morning or you have family in town because it is prepared the night before and ready to throw into the oven in the morning!And the kids LOVED it!!
Ingredients:
1 loaf day old sourdough bread, cubed
Butter for greasing
7 eggs
2 cups milk
1 cup heavy whipping cream
2 TBLS sugar
2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 cup maple syrup
1/2 cup raisins
Streusel Topping:
2 cups firmly packed brown sugar
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup quick cooking oats
1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
Place cubed bread into a greased 13X9 inch baking dish. In medium bowl, whisk eggs, milk, cream, sugar, cinnamon, and syrup until blended. Mix in raisins. Pour mixture over bread cubes. Cover dish with foil and refrigerate over night.

Pre Heat oven to 350F.
In a small bowl mix streusel ingredients until forms a crumble but not a dough. Sprinkle over bread. Bake in oven 40 minutes. Serve with maple syrup.
