365 Challenge

So, I have always wanted to do one of those 365 photo journal things. Usually they start from the first day of the year but I decided to start mine on my 30th birthday. I took the challenge from 2011 and am putting my own spin on it. I (like many people I assume) find it easy sometimes to get weighed down by all the negative things going on in my life and forget to focus on how much there is POSITIVE to be thankful for. So all of my pictures will not only be following along with the guided list but also represent things that I am grateful for or make me happy. Life is too short to focus on the bad and I want to embrace all the good!! A good attitude is full of gratitude right?? Feel free to play along with me. You can find the 2011 list here. I turned 30 today!! Yay! So many of my friends are full of gloom coming into their next decade but I feel full of hope and happiness! I have a wonderful family who loves me, amazing friends, the knowledge that my Heavenly Father knows me and has a plan for me, and I am healthy and cancer free!! Today is the first day of my photo challenge and the topic today is "Abstract".  So I looked up the definition ( I am not an artist, I need to stretch the imagination beyond what everyone thinks of, which funnily enough is what abstract thinking is....)

So here is a picture of my dog, Lucky. Because my husband says she steals my attention away from him all the time. :)
