As our family is trying to stick to our new "fresh" diet we are looking for local farms and ranches to obtain our food from. I was SO SUPER EXCITED (can you tell by the all caps just how excited I was?) to stumble upon this site. Greenling is a great source for locally farmed meats and produce in the Austin/San Antonio Texas areas. The only measuring you'll do at all is when you use half of an item for one dish and the other half for another dish. All packaging is either completely biodegradable/compostable or easily recycled - you can leave them in your box and we'll wash and reuse them if possible.
Yep, that's right. They have preportioned meals complete with recipes for 5 meals (funny how that is just as many week days as there are...) I don't even have to think about what I will make for dinner! It's all there, and it's all fresh from local farms. I can't wait to share with you how the meals turn out once the food arrives (delivery is scheduled for the 22) If you are in the area, you should check them out!! I love knowing that I will be getting great meats and produce AND helping out the American farm workers!! :)
