Summer Curriculum Search Giveaway #1

Congrats to our winner Kassandra!! We hope you will enjoy your curriculum sampler!! :) :)








I was fortunate enough to attend some Pre-K curriculum "adoption" workshops for the local school district and I snatched some extra freebies and wanted to pass them on to my readers! The first give away is from the OWL for Texas (I live in Texas so that is what I got!) made by Pearson. You can find out more about their curriculum at www.texasowl.com

The sampler pack includes a variety of great tools including:
  • Teacher Planning and Assessment Guide
  • 4 week complete sample curriculum 
  • Posters and classroom visual aids
  • books and manipulatives

All curriculum  samples come in English and Spanish! Even if you don't choose to use their curriculum I loved all the little freebies and my daughter is excited about the little books and math blocks! I also attended a Scholastic presentation that I will be giving away next week!

    Well as of right now, we're just in the planning years, but I spend a lot of time reading to him and doing active learning through play:-)

    I really like the Charlotte Mason narrating approach. I will read a selection of Science or History to my children and they narrate it back to me in their own words. It's amazing how much more they remember using this simple technique.

    Right now my son is 2, so we just work together to try to teach him things in a fun way.

    OOOh. Can I enter in the UK? I homeschool my 5 kids, and we use Sonlight. It works for us because I don't have to do much preparation which suits me fine.
